  • Sign up to attend the Baden Powell Dinner at the Flywheel Museum February 17th as well as the Train the Trainer Event hosted on the 18th!
  • Recharters are coming in strong, but there are still some units that have not gotten theirs submitted. If you are having trouble and need assistance, please contact either Brian Bell ( or Kelsey Walker ( and we will be more than happy to give you a hand! Let's get them all completed as soon as possible!
  • Talk to your units about the Family Friends of Scouting Campaign for 2018. There is a new option for giving called the Pizza Pie Option. Contact Brian, Kelsey, or our Triconda FFOS Chair Ashley Harberts ( and let us know if your unit will be doing the new Pizza Pie method or taking the traditional route for FFOS 2018. There are some great incentives that directly apply to your unit that you can take advantage of if goal are met/exceeded. We need to now which route you have decided on by February 15!
  • Recharters must be turned in and FFOS method decided and relayed to the office prior to ANY Scout Shop orders will be given, so make sure you get this sorted.

Thank you for all you do for Scouting and we look forward to hearing from all of the Triconda District!

Pack 20 held their Blue and Gold Ceremony on February 11th. Congratulations to the new Boy Scouts who crossed over from Pack 20!

Congratulations to Trevor Johnson for earning student of the week.  Trevor is a member of Troop 214. Trevor is very trustworthy and a fantastic young man.  He is working towards being an Eagle Scout and the work he puts into scouting really shows in the way he handles himself in school.  He is respectful and is a positive influence on the class.  Trevor is never in a bad mood and teachers appreciate his willingness to work with others.  Trevor really does try to do his best and he also tries very hard to help other people in the classroom and the hallways.  He makes South Middle School a better place for all of us.
