Online Leader Training

In an effort to get leaders started in the right direction and to provide essential training for all leaders, the National Council has created several online training courses.

To take any of the online training sessions, you need to:

• go the to Boy Scouts of America website
• select the MyScouting tab at the top right
• enter or create a username and password account
• once in, select the elearning option on the left side

You will see a list of training opportunities.  As you complete the training, you will see your progress recorded on that page.  You do not have to be a registered leader to take the training courses.  If you are a registered leader, you can Update your Profile from the home page, enter your Membership ID Number and every training you take will be credited to your permanent record.  You will also see more training courses based on your registered position.

To get your Membership ID Number, refer to the membership card, contact your unit committee chair, or contact Debbie Hughes, the council registrar.  For step by step instructions, click here.
