Holding a Troop Open House
The key to Boy Scout recruiting is Scout to Scout Recruiting. Use your current Boy Scouts as Scouting Ambassadors to recruit their friends to come to your open house and activities
A Troop Open House can be completed 5 easy steps:
- Identify your Prospects
- Mail and Disperse Invitations
- Follow up with a call
- Host the Troop Open House
- Organize a Troop Activity
The Coronado Area Council will follow up with your Troop to make sure that you have the resources in hand to be successful. Your Commissioner is also available to help guide you through this process.
