Online Training Is Now Even Better!!

Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training is now available online.  You can now get all the required training you need as a Cub Scout Leader from the comfort of your own home.  Districts will still conduct this training locally for those that prefer face to face training.  You can find this training at www.scouting.org/volunteer/training.

Online courses for Youth Protection, Fast Start, and This is Scouting have been updated to support Cub Scouts 2010 rolled out earlier this year. Now, den leaders and assistants, Cubmasters and assistants, pack trainers, and pack committee chairs and members can now learn the how-to’s for successfully conducting an engaging den and pack program and can become confident in the role each plays.

All online training is available by clicking the link: www.scouting.org. When entering www.MyScouting.org, click on the E-Learning link under the Training header located on the left-side menu. Then click on the Cub Scouts tab and voila!... all leader training is at your convenience.   Be sure to create your profile with your membership id to ensure you receive credit for training.  If you do not know your membership id, contact Debbie Hughes, Council Registrar.
