High Plains Scout Pow Wow

The second annual Scout Powwow will be held at Colby Community College from August 8-10, 2008.  A few of the merit badges to be offered will be horsemanship, avaiation, orienteering, first aid, weather, indian lore, chemistry, fly fishing, veterinary medicine, wilderness survival, citizenship in the nation and world.  There will be numerous adult leader training courses offered as well.  Saturday afternoon activities include elk/turkey calling, geo caching, trap/skeet shooting, canoeing.  There will be a registration form out in April with cost and forms that are needed to register.  Evening events will include a huge bonfire ceremony.
