BALOO Training 2010 (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)

When: Saturday, February 13th, 2010 - 9:00am - 3:00pm in Hays and Saturday, February 20th, 2010 -       9:00am - 3:00pm  at Camp Brown.

Where: Hays United Methodist Church 305 W. 7th St.   Hays, KS 67601 on February 13th and at Camp Brown on February 20th.

How Much: $10 to cover program supplies, snacks, lunch, and other items

Why:  To be qualified to take your Cub Scouts Pack camping within the Boy Scouts of America's Guide to Safe Scouting, plus it will help you make your program a quality one.

BALOO Training is an important part of the Cub Scouting Program.  It is required to have at least one leader BALOO trained to take a Cub Scout pack camping.   This training is important because it shows you how to conduct a quality outdoor program. 

The Boy Scouts of America wants to help you make the outdoor program one that will be meaningful and educational.  Camping is one of the main reasons that boy join the Scouting Program.
