Gateways for Troops at Centennial Camp

At the National Jamboree, gateways for each sub-camp and troop are staples.  For Centennial Camp, we want to capture that same environment.  Each District will construct gateways for their district sub-camp in the Boy Scout Camping area.  Likewise, troops are encouraged to construct a gateway for their campsite.

Not only will gateways enhance the overall experience of Centennial Camp, but it will also serve as a functional way for Scouts to find their sites amongst all the troops that will be camping.  There are certain restrictions we have on gateways to comply with the location we are camping on.  Please follow these guidelines when planning for your troop gateway.

The commissioner staff will judge the gateways and your troop campsites during Centennial Camp.  Have the best site and we look forward to seeing you on October 8!
