  • A Couple of Spots Open Up for the National Jamboree Contingent

    Due to a few last minute changes, a couple of spots have opened up for the Coronado Area Council 2010 National Jamboree Contingent. (read more)
  • Date Change for KSU Merit Badge Day

    Due to a conflict with KSU Open House, the Merit Badge Committee has moved the KSU Merit Badge Day to May 1, 2010. Please change your calendars. We apologize if this change creates any inconveniences.
  • National Hall of Leadership Deadline Extended!

    The Boy Scouts of America has seen thousands of terrific stories about Scouting leadership submitted to the National Hall of Leadership nomination database, but there are many more great stories out there yet to be shared! As everyone is busy ramping up for a busy 1OOth Anniversary year, it has been decided to extended the nomination deadline to April 2, 2010.
  • Coronado Area Council’s 100th Anniversary Centennial Camp

    Mark your calendars for October 8-10 for Centennial Camp, the Coronado Area Council's celebration of Scouting's 100th Annivesary. (read more)
  • KSU Merit Badge Day Materials Now Available!

    The 2010 KSU Merit Badge Day packet and registration materials are now available. The event will take place on May 1 at the Manhattan Campus of Kansas State. Classes will beginning at 8:00 AM and will close at 5:00 PM. (more)
  • Cub Camping Guides Released

    The Cub Scout Camping & Activities Committee is pleased to release the 2010 Cub Camping Guides. The complete document was given out to packs at the February Roundtables. Below are the chapters broken by topic for you to download. (read more)
  • Centennial Encampment Committee Selects Site

    Oakdale Park and the Bicentennial Center Complex in Salina, Kansas has been selected as the Centennial Encampment location to be held October 8-10, 2010. (read more)

  • Centennial Camp Program Committee Seeks Program Ideas

    Centennial Camp, scheduled for October 8-10, 2010 in the heart of Salina looks will be the biggest Scouting celebration of the 100th Anniversary in central Kansas. Over 5,000 are expected to attend this three day, two night extravaganza. It is sure to be a “can’t miss” for every Tiger, Cub, Webelos, Scout, Venturer, or Explorer.
  • Catholic Committee on Scouting Plans Retreat

    The Catholic Committee on Scouting serves to assist with the promotion of Religious Awards, training to counselors, and provide opportunities for spiritual advancement of Scouts in the Coronado Area Council.
