Join the Scouters of the Coronado Area Council as we celebrate another outstanding year of service to young people. Help recognize those men and women whose dedicated service has kept bright the flame of Scouting as the evening includes the presentation of the Silver Beaver Awards, the highest award any Council gave bestow upon volunteers. The 2009 Class of Eagle Scouts has also been invited to be recognized.

4. Wheatland District is announcing the formation of a Scuba Diving Venturing Crew open to all male and female 14 years old and up (all adults are welcome as well) in the District. If you or your family has ever wanted to get Scuba Certified through PADI this Crew will be providing all the necessary training as well as give you access to many activities to go Scuba Diving. Scouter and Boy Scouts wanting to get the new Scuba Diving merit badge are encouraged to dual register with the Crew and the Crew is open to anyone in the community (No Scouting experience necessary!)
