Wheatland District Commissioner Staff

As Commissioner's we are known as the unit 'doctors' for one or more unit. Some things that Unit Commissioners do:

Establish and maintain good working relationships with unit leaders
Help identify new leadership to fill vacant positions
Work with with unit leaders and unit committee to improve the quality of program in the unit
To ensure that every youth at schools that the unit draws from has a chance to join Scouts
Attend special unit events as the honorary guest
Is asked at times to do Friends of Scouting Presentation for units
Various other tasks that are seen as necessary by District Executive and District Commissioner.
Communicate information from the District and the Council that is important for a successful unit to know
Help ensure that the units set goals and achieve the Centennial Quality District Award.
