The Kansas Wetlands Education Center is the perfect place to conduct Eagle Scout projects, earn Merit Badges, and to host Campouts.
Scouting has a strong tradition in Gove, Trego, Ellis, Russell, Rooks, and Osborne Counties. Now everyone can help ensure the continuation of a quality Scouting program in these counties by support the Coronado Area Council, BSA's Fund in the Heartland Community Foundation. Wheatland District Roundtable is held the first Monday of every month in Hays (break for June and July). Leaders can learn about new things happening in the District and meet other leaders that can help you. Training and other ways to improve your unit are presented.
The Wheatland District will be posting all updated Goals and results from January 2011 - December 2011. We want you know to where we stand in terms of the various achievements in this new program. Follow us as we work towards being a Gold level Journey to Excellence District for 2011!
