Matching Gifts from Employers—FOS

Many employers/businesses will match their employees‘ charitable contributions. For instance, if you give $500 to the Coronado Area Council and your employer has a matching gifts program, the Council would re-ceive the benefit of $1,000. If you‘re a contributor to the Coronado Area Council, or are considering a contri-bution, please check with your employer to see if this program exists or if your employer might be interested in starting it.

 To help determine matching gifts companies, we are asking that everyone write down their employer on the employer name line on your Friends of Scouting Card. Ask your employer to help us match your gift to ensure a quality program for all of our youth.
